Series 14 – ČSD flatcars with load

Models of ČSD flat cars will be offered in the 14th edition with a load of coils of steel wire or the OT-64 Public Safety armoured personnel carrier. A rarity is the current track and switch de-icing machine, used in several versions on CSD sidings and lines, created by using decommissioned MiG-15 aircraft.

Description of the model: Železárny a dráovny Bohumín was a metallurgical and mechanical engineering company operating in Bohumín since 1885. The model of the Paon ČSD series platform car with low sidewalls is supplied with imitation steel wire coils and accompanied by the ŽDB logo to commemorate the 95th anniversary of the ironworks;

Description of the model: At the beginning of the 1960s, several modified MiG-15 aircraft were mounted on flat cars and used to defrost switches and remove snow drifts. While this method was fast and efficient, it was also very noisy and costly in fuel consumption, not to mention destroying sleepers and damaging the track bed;

Px ČSD + OT-64 SKOT VB

Description of the model: Six-axle flat car of Px ČSD series transporting armoured personnel carrier OT-64 SKOT of the Czechoslovak Armored Cavalry Emergency Unit, in the 1980s version. The modified transporters were used at mass events at that time, especially as a "crowd displacement tool". The name SKOT is an abbreviation of Medium Wheeled Armored Personnel Carrier.
